 The collection during study for this project | It soon became clear that the collection was largely unpublished, andprovided an unparalleled view into the aircraft and pilots of the Wrightexhibition team as they set out to demonstrate the wondrous new airplane toAmerica. A database of the collection was developed to aid in theorganization of the collection. By inspecting the images in detail online and in person, the extensive knowledge and historical archives of the Wright Experience were used to identify and classify the collection, storing the information in the database.This system forms the backbone of this website. |
